about
All Is Well is our first single in nearly 3 years, and will mark the beginning of a new album cycle for us.
Musically All Is Well will give a hint at what is brewing in Árstíðir-land musically. In some ways it marks a return to our origins as a band, and in other ways the start of something completely new.
Lyrically 'All Is Well' is a spell that we're casting: a wish for brighter times ahead for all of us!
"All is well in the end, all is well..."
lyrics
Lyrics:
You’re looking for an answer
Stuck inside the comfort of your mind
Your ground is slowly freezing
Even by a furnace breaking into sounds
These days it’s never easy
Problems come and go they’re aching all the time
Searching for a way to compromise
You say you’re sorry
But you failed to recognize
There never was a need to apologize
If you try to get by, then with time they will understand
Old paths are slowly fading
For the strength that has been building up inside
We’ve spent a lifetime learning
Each broken purpose rebuilt to former heights
Always trying to find the perfect line
You say you’re sorry
But you failed to recognize
There never was a need to apologize
You say it once more
But never realized
There never was a need to get it right
If you try to get by, then with time they will understand
If you try, if you try, in the end they might comprehend
All is well in the end all is well
All is well in the end all is well

A modern masterpiece of beautiful sounds. One of my favourite albums that came out in 2018. It's hard for me to pick a favourite track. hallowedground777
I love to listen to this during work, it fills me with calmness and I can almost smell the scents of the forest.
Beautiful & serene from start to finish. SilverFolfy
Alec Bowman perfectly captures the dark soil under the pastoral world of British folk with this collection of melancholy originals. Bandcamp New & Notable May 12, 2020
